Path to Ownership

1
Financing and Planning

It’s time to meet with your lender for a loan pre-approval. Once your sales representative receives the pre-approval letter, you will be contacted to schedule a meeting to sit down and finalize the details of your building agreement.

2
Select a Community & Lot

Find the perfect floor plan for you and your family in your desired neighborhood. Once selected, it’s time to choose your lot. What’s important to you? Is it a big backyard, being next to a lake, or having a corner lot? These are all important questions for you to ask yourself when choosing the site for your new home!

3
Sign Your Building Agreement

It’s important at this meeting that you determined what upgrades you want to include. Immediately following the signing of your building agreement, our office will submit a plan request to the Architect and start the permit process once those plans have been received.

4
Design Appointment

This is one of the most exciting parts of the process for most homeowners! During your appointment, you will meet with our interior designer to customize your new home. We suggest that you check out the Design Gallery on our website to view selected images before your appointment.

5
Construction Starts

Once the construction team receives the permit from the city, it’s time to begin the site work and foundation. The next 3 months are going to be quite exciting as you see your home come together piece by piece!

6
Quality Check, Orientation & Final Walk Through

Once the quality control check is completed on your home, our office will schedule the Home Orientation. The Orientation consists of a walk through with the Project Manager to review any pending items. Once those items are addressed, the final walk-through will occur to give you peace of mind that the home is move-in ready!

7
It’s All Yours!

After reviewing and signing the loan and title documents with the closing attorney, it's time to move in and enjoy your Alvarez home! Over the next year, we will send you a series of email surveys requesting feedback. Our warranty department will also reach out to schedule a 30-day, 3-, 6-, and 12-month post-closing inspection.
